Linguini and fresh clams at the Carter's tonight... Frank's favorite!

Patti Carter: I was born Patrizia Moscovio in Naples Italy. My family came to America when I was 5 years old and settled in Boston. Patrizia soon became Patti - "because you are an American Girl now" I was told. I loved being an Ameican Girl! My parents quickly grew to love this country and everything it stood for. After moving to California and meeting my wonderful husband I became Patti Carter. I have always cherished our Italian roots and culture for what it represents. To me it is defined very simply as a love of family, faith in God, and a zest for living each day to the fullest. My parents taught me above all else to be hospitable, share what you have, make everyone feel welcome, feed people, laugh as much and as often as possible and above all, don't take yourself too seriously. This blog is dedicated to them as my "thank you" and my way of cronicling and preserving some memories for the next generation. After all, If you don't know where you came from, how can you know where you are going??
